About WFCAACN: Our membership represent acute and critical-care nurses in Utah along the Wasatch Front. As a chapter of the national organization of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, we welcome all nurses who practice in the ICUs, step-down units, telemetry units, PACU, emergency departments, air and ground critical care transport, special procedures and cardiac catheterization laboratories. We focus on providing support to clinicians, nurse educators and nursing leaders.
Vision: Critical-Care nurses are exceptional nurses who can be standard-setting regarding critical thinking and clinical reasoning. Working together we can share professional resources, our knowledge and our experiences to provide engaging and thought-provoking programs.
Mission: To facilitate and inspire leadership in Critical Care. Providing cutting-edge Evidence-Based care for our patients and their families requires continuous learning and current up-to-date resources. We can continue this commitment with actively sharing and networking with co-workers and colleagues through participation and membership in WFCAACN and AACN.
